Overview
The 21st Yeongyang Wild Vegetable Festival is a representative local spring festival themed around various wild vegetables that grow in the pristine natural environment. Held in the areas of Yeongyang-eup and Ilwolsan Mountain in Yeongyang-gun, the festival was launched to promote the excellence of wild vegetables, increase income for local farms, and revitalize tourism. In particular, this festival features a 'Gourmet Road' centered on wild vegetables as its core content. It goes beyond simply providing food to operate as a gourmet-style festival where visitors can directly experience and enjoy the taste and value of wild vegetables. The Gourmet Road is designed as a central space that combines various food options based on wild vegetable dishes with interactive elements, aimed at extending visitors' stay and encouraging consumption. Additionally, during the festival period, various contents such as wild vegetable markets, hands-on programs, and night performances are operated to provide visitors with a stay-type tourism experience to eat, see, and enjoy. The festival conveys the value of local culture and nature through representative programs such as the Wild Vegetable Bibimbap Performance and the 'Starry Night' Concert.
