Overview
The Changdeokgung Palace Moonlight Tour, held at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Changdeokgung Palace, is a signature palace-based cultural program that has maintained its popularity for 17 years since its pilot operation in 2010. The tour highlights the unique charm of Changdeokgung Palace, offering a chance to enjoy the tranquil night scenery, buildings rich with stories, and harmonious landscaping that can only be experienced through this program. The experience is further enhanced by expert commentary and traditional art performances. The Changdeokgung Palace Moonlight Tour begins at the Geumhomun Gate and takes visitors through Jinseonmun Gate, Injeongjeon Hall, Huijeongdang Hall, Nakseonjae Hall, and Sangryeongjeong Pavilion. It also includes access to the usually restricted Secret Garden area, featuring Buyongji Pond, Aeryeonjeong Pavilion, Yeongyeongdang Hall, and the Secret Garden forest trails.
