Overview
Held annually in May and June, this is the largest sand festival in the country, promoting the beauty of Haeundae, Korea's representative beach, and the importance of sand as a marine resource. World-class sand sculptures, diverse hands-on programs, and performances are presented every year with new themes. In 2026, the festival will be held under the theme of 'Busan,' showcasing the city's dynamic changes from the past to the present and future, as well as the charm that has captivated the world. The festival runs from May 15th to May 18th, and the sand sculptures can be viewed until June 14th.
